Welcome back, Floofers! It’s the start of a new year, and with it comes tons of exciting events and announcements from FLOOF!
Without further ado, let’s get into this month’s Newsletter!
Winter Recap
FLOOF Wrapped
Hosted by our wonderful Social Media Manager Bisco, FLOOFWrapped aims to highlight all the wonderful things you fabulous beasts have been up to this past year! Launching on the last #fursuitfriday of the year 2025, FLOOFWrapped ended off our year at FLOOF with a bang!

FLOOF Winter Art Trade
FLOOF’s Winter Art Trade is an event we host every December, where we match participating Floofers to gift each other art, secret-santa style!
In this year’s event, we had a total of 18 participants!

I had a blast drawing my submission for my target, and I’m sure everyone else did as well!
FLOOF Committees Application
With a member count of over 200 and counting, the demands of FLOOF are ever growing. This year, the Eboard has decided launch FLOOF Committees!
Open to current members and alumni, joining a committee means working alongside Eboard to maintain and promote FLOOF. It’s an excellent way to become more involved in FLOOF as a member, as well as gain relevant experience for the committees’ respective Eboard positions!
We’ll be starting out with two committees of 2-4 people this semester:
Art Committee
Members of the Art Committee help on the visual side of FLOOF, with tasks potentially including but not limited to:
- Creating general FLOOF Ads to be put around campus, not specific to any upcoming club event
- Help the Social Media Manager and Historian create graphics for social media posts or newsletters
- Assisting with graphics or art in event-specific ads
- Creating merchandise designs such as stickers, pins, and prints
- Hosting and delivering art giveaways for server members
Fundraising Committee
Members of the Fundraising Committee help on the financial side of FLOOF, with tasks potentially including but not limited to:
- Discovering and contacting local businesses for fundraising event opportunities
- Deciding on where funds should be placed and creating saving goals
- Keeping track of raised/spent money
- Finding/deciding on local charities and causes to donate funds to
- Being in contact with the Ad Manager/Art Committee to spread the word on upcoming fundraising events

As of this writing, the forms for the committees will have closed, and their respective Eboard positions are in the process of evaluating all applicants, conducting interviews if necessary. We thank you all for your continued interest and support!

New FLOOF Website/Newsletter
As you may have noticed, this Newsletter is hosted on our brand new website. Made by yours truly, this site will host all future newsletters, and even has the capacity to serve as a general FLOOF website!
I spent tons of time over the Winter break sawing and nailing everything together, so you bugs better be grateful!
Start of Semester On Campus Fursuiting
Separate from our “official” events, hosted biweekly on Fridays at the MSC, sometimes we like to meet up on campus to fursuit!
This time, we suited and walked from the residential areas to Castor pond, where we took tons of amazing photos!
… whatever happened to that “helicoprime3” person anyways?
Lucifur Spookleton Arrested After Eating All of Parking Enforcement’s Car Boots
Our Vice-President Lucifer Spookleton was arrested after eating all of the parking enforcement’s car boots (allegedly). We are now in search for a new Vice-President, and will conduct an emergency Vice-President election at a later date. More information will be available soon.
FLOOF Spring Opening Social/Semester Kickoff
Our first event of this semester, meet the E-Board, our new Committee members, as well as your fellow FLOOFers!
