FLOOF April Recap
April 1st: April Fools

Our April Fools logo by Ad Manager Vincent!
We were temporarily the FLORIDA ORGANIZATION OF FELINES for April Fools.
Sigh, if only that could be every day…

Several lucky Floofers were also assigned their government issued felisonas, courtesy of VP Jez.
April 10th: Trading Den

At our semesterly Trading Den, lots of goodies were exchanged between hands!
We had the usual share of pokemon cards, fandom paraphernalia, and random doohickeys, however, this time, we saw a trend of custom-made FLOOF Trading cards.
In addition to that, there were also several artists offering drawing services or the clay sculpting of some “little guys” in exchange instead.
The odd circulating item award (I made that up just now) goes to Ahsan’s (now my) vacuum cleaner.

April 18th: Poopsock Plushie Workshop

One of our finished plushies, by Floofer Unhelpful Imp. There’s a key embedded in it.
Hosted by Art Committee Member Lere, Floofers were welcome to partake in a relaxing (not really) and informative workshop for sewing a plushie, for free!

April 24th: Karaoke

Special thanks to Art Committee Member Jayden for drawing the poster, and also airing me out in #general twice for asking her to make a horizontal version for the presentation.
Our last event of this semester! We started off with a short presentation highlighting each of our committee members, and then we detailed our upcoming plans and contributions to the Snoutreach project!
Additionally, we also acknowledged our lovely Ad Manager Vincent’s contributions to FLOOF all semester long, with a cheesecake and poster courtesy of Art Committee Member Jojo, and cards of encouragement from our Floofers!
(We also let loose and sang karaoke afterwards, as we usually do.)
April 28th: Dave’s Hot Chicken Fundraiser

Special thanks to Art Committee Member Jojo for drawing the poster!
I lied, this was the actual last event of this semester. I, uh, forgot to take any pictures. We made $62.40 from it.
Oh also special thanks to Fundraising Committee Member Crispy for organizing this I guess.

FLOOF F26 Fundraiser Survey
Ahem… the following message is from Fundraising Committee Member Crispy, so please read it in your most shrill, grating voice.
Hello everyone! Crisper here
Its been a lot of fun getting to organize these fundraising events and seeing people show up and have a good time. I want to start by thanking each of y'all for showing up to help support the club!
As the semester begins to wrap up, I decided to make a short survey to get everyone's thoughts on Floof fundraising. If you could take the time to fill it out, it'd be greatly appreciated 🧡
FLOOF Gallery is Online!
Following the gentle (not really) persuasion of a couple of Floofers, I have created a separate gallery compiling photos from the start of this semester.

I want you to know that it caused me great physical and psychological distress to do so. (Had to make a separate repository and use a separate static site generator, spent 3 hours troubleshooting until realizing that github for whatever reason doesn’t like underscores in asset directories.)
Also who knows why but for some reason photos taken by Miguel (thank you Miguel for taking pictures) and ONLY by Miguel (my pictures are unaffected by this) that are taller than they are wide are rotated for some reason? WHAT????
A deep, burning vitriol wells up inside me whenever I am forced to work on this newsletter that I volunteered of my own accord to do. Please don’t ask me to try to fix this issue, it took me 2 months last time, to tear this entire website down and remake it using a local theme(?) instead of a remote theme(?) just so I could make the header green.
Also Taylor if you’re reading this I know you’ve also taken tons of really cool high quality photos but it’s currently 11:54pm and I really don’t want to comb through and manually download each and every picture you posted in #fursuiting so when you can please send your FLOOF photos to me in a neatly packaged format please and thank you.
You may view it at https://florgoffurries.github.io/gallery/
(Or click on the “Photo Gallery” link in the header.)
That’s all, see you next time!
